Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good spot to farm for dagger mods, particularly a shocking dagger tang. Perhaps somewhere where mobs frequently drop daggers?

I need the mod for a pvp build and I want to use my pve char with a certain dagger skin.

well, there aren't particular places to farm mods, just go in Factions & Nightfall so that mob can drop daggers...
btw i have a shocking dagger tang :P

And would you mind telling me where you got yours? where were you hunting and what kind of mob?

just like he said, kill anything that looks like an assaisn and stuff, I would try cantha if I were you, just the City, walk aorund kill stuff and hope you are lucky

anyway, i don't remember where i found the shocking dagger tang, probably salvaged from some crappy blue thing..

Assassins drop daggers, so you need to kill assassins. This is a list of all the assassin bad guys in the game. Go, and kill the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO out of these. Keep whomping on them until you get a shocking dagger tang.

Do a little celebratory dance.

I do notice quite a few dagger drops from the spiders farm outside Rihlon, not sure if it's just coincidence but seems the spiders drop a lot of steel daggers and lotus shields, and surprisingly not so many bows since they are all rangers.

Or he could farm creatures, get the drop and then unlock it for his account so that if he ever decides to create a pvp character, he has that option?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this thread yet. There's so many assassins on this run, I'd think you'd be up to your eyeballs in dagger mods before you know it. Works with several common farming builds, and if you're lucky you'll get something worth a ton of gold. Vermin farming is another good option since they are all assassins. Search for vermin on this page for starters. There's also a VwK Rt build for vermin floating around here somewhere. But maybe you'll prefer the assassin build anyway.

Have you actaully done that farm and get lots of daggers? I've done a #$%^ load of that Holcyon Job farm for luxon skills, (average about 5 mins for about 500 points in hm including boss) and dagger drops are actually pretty rare, most of the gold drops you get from that farm are runes. For farming gold daggers the spider farm has that one beat.

I haven't done the spider farm so you're probably correct if you've done both and say the spiders are better. Halcyon drops are mostly runes... I probably didn't do the best job of qualifying my statement, but it doesn't take a gold drop to get a shocking mod.

Nightfall stuff.

The spiders.

I could be wrong here, but I believe Nightfall has more available dagger skins and thus the daggers drop more frequently.... oddly enough.
Plus of course the Inscriptions...

All around better to farm in Nightfall.
